  • So fine.. it sometimes blows my mind
    author: Neil

I found a copy of this excellent out of print disc from this band I recently discovered through CD Baby. This CD is a sort of smorgasbord of musical influences I loved from the 70’s as a kid that I still enjoy today. The musicianship and production are otherworldly, with interesting lyrics to match. The album flows like those classic 70’s albums that you just want to listen to from beginning to end without interruption.

  • You can still get Ponder Yonder on CD at Walmart.com

Awesome Old School Indecision. I was able to recently (7-25-06) get a copy of this CD from Walmart.com You have to actually build the CD on-line (88 cents per song), then they burn it and mail it to you . You get to make the CD cover as well. I love this album.

Beautiful lyrics, awesome arangements, and spiritual guitar work are just a few of the reasons that I love this disc. I would be in heaven if you would re-release your first album onto CD format.

  • Live and sublime at the Cradle
author: T.S.Elliott's Groundhog Tavern, I'm Elliott

This CD, Ponder Yonder, is the most accurate representation of a live band, in the studio, that can be had without standing in the third row and jamming with Indecision live. This to me, by far, is the truest representation of Indecision that can still be had. You can't go see 'um any more, their kids have soccer games now, but if you were lucky enough to see them jam in the Cats Cradle,in Chapel Hill, with Widespread Panic, than you know I'm right on the money. Musically, there never could have been a Dave Matthews Band without Ponder Yonder, and the melodic flow of all of the songs on this "record". If for no other reason alone, you should buy this to hear " Itenerrant Bible Salesman". When you are not blown away by the arrangements, you will be astounded by the intelligence of the lyrics. And if you are at all like me, and you crave the days when ecstacy was a quiet thing, and "Tobacco Road" was about music and basketball, then Ponder Yonder is your CD. Be happy you found it. Someone stole my only copy after Indecision broke up. I just bought 2 new copies. Love Elliott, T.S. Elliott's Groundhog Tavern. Chapel, Hill.
