This album was meticulously recorded by Danny McCrystal at the Reservoir, the name given to a house on the Rivanna River just outside of Charlottesville, VA - hence, the name of the album. The Reservoir was the structure where we practiced, and where some of us regularly slept. This album reflects a variety of our musical influences. As such, the tracks have diverse styles offering a unique sound that is unquestionably INDECISION. It's also our only studio release where Doug Wanamaker plays Saxophone as well. It was recorded and produced in 1992 and released in March of 1993. Internationally, we've sold over 7,500 copies.

  • good to hear the guys again
    author: david

It was great to find this web site and even better finding the likes of Indecision available on it. It was great to hear the guys again. I am from Norfolk, VA and almost remember one awesome show at Hampden-Sydney. This cd was a wonderful memory-jogger. I hope they'll be on the road again soon. If not at least I can replace my worn out bootleg now.

  • the country twang is the thang!

after all these years Reservoir is still one of my favorite albums, period. y'all should write more songs like Spinnin, that's the sound that says this is INDECISION!!! to all the good times!

  • Danceable, workable, driveable, hummable
    author: Joyce

This was an experiment for me and boy did I get lucky! Incredible variety of tunes, clean instrumentations and recording. I keep moving it from car => office => home stereo & can't wait to dance to it on the back porch!

  • Sounds as good today ad it did 10 years ago.

Excellent CD. Sounds as good today as it did 10 years ago. My favorite songs are "Spinnin'" and "Just a Little Bit". The boys from Charlottesville know how to jam!

  • I love this album!!!

"change of heart" and "meet you in the middle" are amazing, i've been turning all my friends on to ya'll so please come to Dallas.

  • Phenominal musicians, material, and style
    author: Leroy Penn

Wonderful use of multiple breaks in this material. Probably frowned on in the commercial world, but independent artists ought to do what feels right. I think the band name INDECISION comes about because the guys can't figure out exactly what style they want to play. No matter, call the style whatever you like, just keep on doing it.

Finally, I have wanted this one for a long time. High Steppin is one of my favorites. The next four songs are classics as well. This CD is just as good as the other ones. A definite must for Indecision fans.

  • Finally! more from Indecision

Now my favorite Indecision CD. Good, clear homegrown studio quality. After playing Ponder Yonder about a thousand times, and recently getting their live release, I feel this is their best one.

  • play loud
    author: Ted

I just finished listening to this CD. Its got a good sound especially the piano solos, and it has a range of styles and interesting lyrics, but it doesn't pack much of a punch. It's great driving music though and worth buying, but some of the songs like Spinning and Basement Blues would sound better acoustically. The only way to hear what I think they were trying to create is to play this disk loudly!

  • about time!!
    author: Miles

i've been trying to get my hands on this disk since Jacob's Run in 93, one of my alltime favorite albums, just bought 2 copies. Thanks for finding them!!
