Album Notes

Indigo Down are a four-piece modern rock band based in London, UK. They were formed by two brothers - singer and rhythm guitarist Jez and drummer Paul in 2004. Bassist Matt and lead guitarist Paco joined shortly after and the band began gigging in August 2004. Indigo Down were embraced by the London rock scene immediately and 2005 has seen them record a 13-track album entitled 'Gin Lane' (released independently on 17th December, 2005 - available online from 21st October 2005) and in conjunction with film production company Inspired Pictures, shoot a much admired video for their debut single 'Freedom' (released in January 2006).

Indigo Down have created their own balance between profound musicianship and the done-to-death, tongue-in-cheek rock band. At last, there is something there for the brain as well as for the eyes and ears.

Indigo Down are cultivating a very strong brand image for not only the domestic, but worldwide market as well. They have a growing web presence - the launch of the album will also coincide with the re-launch of the website - with over 2500 visits per month to www.indigodown.com

indigo down are a breath of fresh air. if you're sick of whining emo and modern rock bands, then this album is for you. it's tongue-in-cheek and incredibly fun, whilst still staying firmly in hard rock/stadium rock rather than tacky pop-emo sh*t.
