Indigoecho's new CD is a treasure
author: Cross Rhythms
Scotland's finest now pitch for the mainstream with the single 'Fade away', which includes three acoustic based songs and an interactive CD ROM.
It begins with the title track, which deals with some of the basic issues of the meaning of life, followed by 'coming home', which retells the story of the prodigal son. The CD ends with 'colours II' which is a complete re-arrangement of a song from their previous album. This is definitely a different side of IndigoEcho's musical style. So, it will be exciting to see what kind of music they will produce in their new album... will they continue with their new acoustic sound, or will they return to their rock roots? we shall find out soon! Anyhow, the three songs are beautifully written and played, and all in all, this is a little treasure to enjoy as we await the new album.

Scotland's pop rockers return to the silver disc world with the release of a a bumper CD single. Three tracks are included, as well as a fantastic multimedia section with all the info you'd like, pictures of the lads and a video of Fade Away. What more could you ask for? Well, is the music any good would be a good opening question?
The two new tracks show a maturity in songwriting, musicianship and overall polish. The chord progressions are catchy without being bland or throw away, and the lyrics get inside your head and demand that you give them a good thinking to -

A small treat of what's hopefully to come
author: P.c.l. Media
The second release from indigoecho on the Room 3 records label, is hopefully a just a small taste of whats to come. The step up in quality of this CD from their debut album is truely spectactular.
The CD starts with an infectious hook on 'Fade Away' that draws you closer to the song as it progresses. And with dynamic changes, smooth vocals this is a cracking opener.
The second track is an indication of where this band is going... It is easily their best work to date! A chilled out, guitar driven song with heart felt lyrics and a well crafted instrumental, this track will captivate you and force you to listen to it again and again. The CD is worth it for this song alone. The last track is a remix of a song on their album 'one' that provides a relaxed ending to the CD.
Best part: 'coming home's' middle 8...
Worst part: only three tracks...
