Album Notes

INDRA is a jazz trio based in Århus, Denmark. This debut album features the band's unique take on a number of known standards as well as a couple of traditional American folk songs, and a pair of tunes in Italian and Spanish thrown in for good measure. INDRA has an extensive and diverse repertoire drawn mainly from songs that Indra Rios-Moore has collected over her last 15 years of solo singing and international touring experience.

The cd features Rani Arbo of Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem on fiddle and background vocals.
