www.cdbaby.com/cd/infantini2

i am guitarist and have been for more than 20 years. All of the music on "the bands & lost recordings" was written and aranged by me as well.
i began noodling on a guitar since around the age of 9 when i didn't know how to play but tryed to anyway and recorded most of it.what began to happen was an understanding of playing writing and aranging.i began recording after discovering my sisters tape recorder and the comedy skits she was doing with her friends i thought to myself "wow, you can record anything what a concept!!!
so 25 plus years later i have well over 100 cassette tapes ,the medium that i used to use, now,it's all digital recordings also transfer from analog to digital.

This cd is a collection from the past 15 years of 8,16 & 24 track studio recording(s) as well as rehearsal recording(s) using a hand held recording device placed on the floor.

Track(s) 10 & 12 home recordings,i have hours of this kind of stuff ranging from 1983 to 1989 all done on an analog 4 track Fostex cassette recorder some of which you can here on tracks 10,12,17 & 19

"scandal feast" & "no job too small" - all band members listed , in an "audio mutation" form as well as joe drummer & bill bassist on the very first section of "scandal feast" , i only know joe & bill's first name cause i only jamed with them once on a cold grey november day in 1992.

"no job too small" is an "audio mutation" it includes a conversation that was recorded, simply because it's easier to record than it is to write down all your verbal ideas, featuring me and drummer stu from V.A.i.L,while we were having a band meeting and began laughing, captured forever on an audio recording...

Here is a list of each song with brief info:
1) **threshold** - i did this in 1 take,standard tuning
2) **telling of the story** - 3 takes standard tuning
3) **tribe** - 1 take for first rhythm guitar, about 5 or 6 for the second rhythm guitar, there was alot of tension in the studio, we did this song so good at rehearsals, here is the tuning DADADD
4)**basement song** - improvised,same tuning as "tribe"
5)**Can't wait** - 1 take,standard tuning (demo version)
6)**little solo** - improvised,standard tuning
7)**desperation** - 2 takes,standard tuning
8)**Hoboken train** - 1 take and some overdubs,low E to D
9)**Azimuth** - 1 take doubled the rhythm guitars -from 1993- same song as "pusher" but without vocals, standard tuning
10)**mother** - this is a roland r-70 drum machine that they dont make anymore, i think
11)**put me thru** - intro standard tuning, low E to C for the rest
12)**sun road** - 4 track,analog fostex

13)**pusher** - 1 take for each guitar,from 1986
14)**crux** - 2 takes,from 1993,standard tuning
15)**bit of the stick** - one session all mixed toghether as one song with added things from other sessions
16)**the song that almost was** - rehearsal recording from 1993
17)**no job too small** - a bunch of recordings uploaded to my roland 8 track recorder and mixed to a hard drive
18) **ode to the pillow** - roland echo effect on my voice, you'll hear me scream at the very end thats just me ,joe, acting like stu's groupie...
19) **scandal feast** - same technique as "no job too small"
