Infinite Skillz started writing lyrics while attending high school in Virginia. In college, he joined an Atlanta based crew called Unparalleled Sound (UPS). This four-man consortium went their separate ways after graduation, but remain friends. Infinite left Atlanta after graduating from Morehouse College and moved to a small town named Searcy in North Central Arkansas for grad school. After finishing his 2-year program in 16 months, Infinite started channeling his considerable drive into his many hustles. Music is one of them.
He is an accomplished journalist who does not depend on music to pay his bills. Infinite's philosophy is that the only way to keep his music free from the influence of money is to refrain from depending on the music industry to provide a living. But do not be fooled. As the founding member of B.A.S.E. Inc, Infinite is almost insanely committed to putting in work on his craft and creating quality music that entertains and educates.
Infinite’s debut album, The Anomaly (2007), is a path clearing journey that will help restore a much-needed balance to the Hip Hop community. Building off the buzz from his debut release, Infinite Skillz has provided the Hip Hop community with gems like his Open Season Mixtape and the Swoon Music EP Volume 1. The latter is a collaboration with Mr. J aka Tha Burnin German. Swoon Music, which was created and coined by Infinite Skillz, is a perfect mixture of Oldies (Doo Wop) and Hip Hop. Additionally, Infinite is responsible for the music heard on the St. Petersburg Times, Friday Night Rewind and Nothing But Net web broadcasts.
Infinite Skillz claims Virginia as his home, but draws on his Army brat upbringing to connect with people of all walks of life. His list of collaborators include the Cuban Sandwich Crisis, DJ Wreckless, DZK and many more.
The Anomaly is a path clearing journey that will help redefine what Hip Hop is.

I must agree with Billy, every word is understandable and thats rare in rap music. I love the lyrical content and the meaning/messeges behind it. This is rap music even my mother can enjoy, and thats not an easy thing to achieve. I\'ve been a fan of Mr. Skillz for a while but now that I actually own his album I\'m even more of a fan.

This album has great beats with some quality flowing going on.Production is tight,ya can understand every word.Gotta say the highlight for me is 'the headband game' 'on your life' is also a bangin track. And also a great personal track called 'Struggle'.gotta say this song is easy to relate to.Nice to hear someone actually saying something, instead of talking about whips n' chains. If ya haven't bought it yet.Get it!Well worth the money.
