Lansing, Michigan's Ingham County regulars are country band, but they don't "play that crap you hear on the radio," according to bassist Jason Portier. The Ingham County Regulars were formed in the spring of 2002. Armed with an arsenal of original songs, as well as covering classics by country grats such as Hank Williams and Merle Haggard. First taking the stage on May 17, 2002 at Dagwood's Tavern in Lansing, MI., they have since become reular fixtures thru-out the state and beyond. Wowing their audiences since the first note was struck.
I.C.R. is made up of brothers Marty Portier(vocals/guitar) and Jason Portier(bass/vocals), Jesse Soriano(drums/vocals), and Chris Diener(lead guitar/vocals).
As the lines between rock and country music begin to blur more and more, many people from all sides of the music spectrum are beginning to turn to the young and still developing genre of Alt/Country. "These days, alt/country is one of rock and roll's hideouts," say the boys.
All 4 members are veterans of the original music scene. The experience and talent of each player is evident in their live shows, as well as, their first full-length release produced and recorded by Detroit legend, Jim Diamond. One listen and you will hear the best of old country and what modern country could and ought to be.

Last night at 3 a.m. Martin Portier barged into my house and said, "I'm here to party!" He whipped out a 12-pack of Milwaukee's Best and put on Hank Williams Jr.'s Greatest Hits at top volume. I tried to tell him I had to sleep so I could go to work, but he started smoking this funny-looking pipe he had in his pocket. Luckily, the neighbors called the cops and they showed up while Marty was trying to force me to snort some unidentified white powder. Then he had the nerve to call me and ask me to bail him out.
