Ingrid Blatter, a Swedish born pianist living today in Mexico comes up with a conservative taste and a traditional piano performance in this well known J. S. Bach's Italian Concert and the collection of Inventions for three voices. Ms. Blatter has a special talent for performing baroque piano music after dedicating most of her academic research to the precision, clarity and definition of baroque piano playing.

ABOUT THE ARTIST


A native of Sweden, Ingrid Blatter received her musical training in London from Alice Dowland and Harry Blair.
Living today in Mexico City, she has held a professorship at Escuela Nacional de Música UNAM since 1991, and since 1992 has served as Piano Player at the Ollin Yolitzli Art Center. International recognition was established in 1992 when she won the CONACULTA scholarship, and has grown through a recording career with over four recordings. Ingrid Blatter performs frequently in major international halls and concert festivals. She conducts master piano classes at the Escuela Nacional de Música UNAM.
