ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The unique music that INNOVATA performs is not only audience friendly, it is the most popular music they present! From their informative tidbits between peices, to their light-hearted banter - INNOVATA introduces audiences to music that has never been performed by other brass quintets. That's right, nowhere else can you hear the staple repertoire of INNOVATA! Wonderful transcriptions from the Baroque to Dixieland are all part of an INNOVATA concert, but the original music that they present is second to none, and most importantly, their audiences love it!

This particular album is the group's 1st effort including music from Baroque to Dixieland and has their first original tune "Karen" by Sanae Kanda. This exclusive piece set in motion the future direction of the group. In 2013 INNOVATA will be releasing a new recording made up of only original works by composer Sanae Kanda, but pick this one up - it has a wide variety of great music that audiences have enjoyed over and over again!

CD Baby

A FABULOUS classical brass CD! An innovative organization that performs music spanning 600 years. Classical, Baroque, Renaissance, romantic, contemporary, jazz, Dixieland and much more. The musicianship ALONE is stunning as the horns twist and turn their ways around these pieces. Add the vast range of the styles, and the crystal clear recording, and you'll think you're actually in a concert hall!

Wide-ranging styles played by a nimble collective of musicians.
Buy this fabulous classical brass CD and listen to it LOUD at least once. Then you can listen to it at whatever volume you wish. This inventive collaboration of talented musicians plays life into pieces spanning 600 years of musical history and ranging from Baroque to Dixieland in origin. The musicianship alone is stunning as the horns twist and turn their ways around these pieces, melting over melodies and rolling over rhythms. Add to that the vast range of the styles, a strong selection of material, and the crystal clear recording, and you’ve got yourself a package that’s ready for gatherings of any kind or solitary reflection on a lazy afternoon.
