Album Notes

Each of these tunes has a meaning. They each came from something...or the title came from an experience...and they are all a part of my life here in the Pacific Northwest in Oregon or in my home away from home in the Cook Islands in the South Pacific.

This album comes from my experiences, love of acoustic instruments, and my many years of playing violin in an orchestra. (I also must mention Led Zeppelin and The Grateful Dead) Several very fine acoustic instruments were used on this album and it was recorded in my own studio, at my home overlooking the South Slough in Charleston, Oregon. I hope you like the music...Soon, I will share which instruments I used for each song, when I recorded each song, and the story behind each song.

The cover shot is after a great kitesurfing session with the boys at Whiskey Run beach on the South Coast of Oregon. The back photo is a sunset while I'm playing my Collings D1Asunburst on the little motu of Maina in Aitutaki, Cook Islands in August '06. The CD photo is a sunrise from my home/studio where I recorded this music.
