From Calgary, Alberta, Canada- has earned their place as a mainstay of the Alberta Metal scene.

Featuring four singers, the main show for Inspected by 40 is J.A.R. and the Italian Stallion providing "ferocious leads" and "tight guitar harmonies" backed by The Machine's galloping rhythm guitar, Philthy's driving bass and the cataclysmic thunder of Muscles's beats.

An Inspected by 40 appearance, with its non-stop, no-holds-barred energy that reflects their sincere enthusiasm and dedication is an experience that brings new and old audiences alike to their feet. One of these recent appearances at Cowboys in Calgary was a 1st place win at Rocktoberfest Battle Of The Bands. This 2008 indie re-release (mart*inc), Cougar-Bait is a showcase of great guitar driven metal and rock and features all original songs as well as a strong cover of Dick Twang's "Screaming In The Pits Of Hell". Metal fans check out "New Tragedy" and "T.F.Y.T.D." for example. The band also shows us some diversity and a sense of humour on this cd with the hilarious lyrics of "SARS?" and "Birthole Clan".
Inspected By 40 was featured on the Alberta Metal compilation CD "The Greatest Underground Show On Earth", and recently included on Vol. 2. with their new track "Return Of The Living Dead".
