Mikaeli
“Inspirational Gal”™
A talent, whose time has come, is Mikaeli King, the Inspirational Gal ™ who hails from Chicago. Maybe you don’t know her, but you might have seen her or heard her before. The author, singer/songwriter, speaker, actress, model and voice over talent has appeared in National television commercials, her Mc Donald’s commercial with Chicago Bears “Refrigerator Perry” has become a classic, used her voice for National and Regional radio commercials, modeled for National magazine and billboard ads, and seen on the cover of Jet and Ebony as the “Luster Girl” for Luster hair products, hand modeled for print ads and television commercials, appeared and featured in television shows, starred in the Chicago Film Festival Indies Film and walked the runway as a petite fashion model for clients Liz Claiborne and Anne Klein. She is now using her singer/songwriting talents to inspire the hearts of man. Using her styles of R&B, Jazz, and Pop, Mikaeli has sung for private and city events for the mayor of Chicago, performed at the Taste of Chicago, in clubs in the Chicago and Los Angeles areas, and sang with her band for the Chicago Bears Super Bowl Championship party. Mikaeli entered the Coors Climbing Up Contest in Chicago and was one of the 10 top winners out of 200 acts. She was chosen to perform in a special show at the Chicago Civic Opera House. Mikaeli has sung the National Anthem (acappela) for the WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks. She has worked with Billy Dee Williams, Lou Rawls, Clareece Taylor and Danny Aiello.
Encouraged early in life by her mom, Mikaeli was coached and directed in the art of speaking and acting. Her dad encouraged her in the area of acting by taking her to movies as young child.
This CD is a labor of love and Mikaeli brings her heart as well as her rich vocal talents into her new project and you can experience that through her new CD, which features the Anthem “A Strong Wall against Violence.” on the “One Voice of Hope” Tribute to Barack Obama CD. This song crosses racial, ethnic and religious denominational boundaries. Recorded live in a rich acappela style accompanied with acoustic guitar. Her original song, “A Strong Wall Against Violence” is a heart wrenching ballad, an anthem of "unity" and "peace." Mikaeli believes the song is an anthem for all Americans.
The Tribute to Barack Obama, “Inspiring A Nation Mending a Whole: One Voice of Hope” is causing quite a buzz. The powerful Spoken Word performance of the Tribute is moving! Mikaeli pours out a spirit of empowerment to all of us who have waited and dared to dream about a new generation being birth into America and the world. Her words speak of a spirit of love and truth and then a magical sense of healing and peace takes over. Mikaeli makes us believe that inside Barack Obama's mind is the key to a new future and destiny for our Nation. We want this dream of Dr. King's to come true and this "new birthing" of hope and change to happen now!
Mikaeli penned both the Anthem and the Tribute.
With every download of the Album or the purchase of the CD, a percentage will be given to the Obama Campaign. The way cool CD is a historical commemorative piece. It features the entire Tribute inside the mind of President-Elect Obama and get this, the actual CD features a 3d version of it. So, cool you will want to frame your CD! So, get a great CD and help make a difference! (I still give to the grassroots for change on the Obama website!)

Inspiring a Nation Mending a Whole: “One Voice of Hope”
Tribute to Barack Obama (Lyrics &Words)
What Time is it?
Is it a Time for change?
Or is it a Time to remain
Rooted in a barrage of anger, guilt, mistrust, and lies?
Because we refuse to guide our children, our heirs,
into a future of “hope.”
A “Hope,” that has been deferred into the backgrounds of prejudice, pain and racial insecurities.
A “Hope,” that is lingering on the notion of “change and growth.”
A “Hope,” that is no longer afraid to take its’ stand alongside a place of tolerance, love, and respect that no longer can be hidden.
A “Hope,” that has waited its’ time to be birth into a “new generation.”
A “Hope,” that remains “hopeful” to all who embrace it.
A “Hope,” that will not stand still any longer, but moves into our hearts, minds and spirits one hope at a time.
A “Hope,” whose time has come to live out it’s destiny in America it was given by God our Father.
A “Hope," who will say no more, “I will move out of the way and take a back seat to bigotry, and fear.”
A “Hope,” that was meant to inspire, change, grow and flourish in the hearts and minds of those who choose to “dream” and believe that the destiny God planned of “One Nation under God” would join into “One Voice.”
The “Voice” of Hope
The “Voice” of Love
The “Voice” of Truth
The “Voice” of God
The “Voice” of the People
America, your “Hope” is here.
Listen to it in your hearts.
Hear it in your minds
And carry it in your spirits…
“WE ARE FREE TO CHANGE AND THE CHANGE IS NOW!”

A Strong Wall Against Violence (Anthem)
“A Strong Wall Against Violence”
Song (Lyrics)
Don’t let your heart grow cold
Don’t let your spirit be removed.
Love is the key to humanity,
remaining free for you and me.
Be a strong wall against violence
Be strong wall for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me (Chorus)
Children hiding underneath their chairs
Holding onto their lives with great fear
Not understanding that the crime,
would soon succeed to take their lives.
Be a strong wall against violence
Be a strong wall against for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me
Take not your lives for granted
For they are given with a price
Stand-up for freedom for everyone
Stand-up for freedom for your love
Become a brick of “unity”
As we join our hearts to set lives free
(Chorus) 1x. (modulation)
The time is coming to decide
If you will help to save a life
Remember your neighbor as your friend
You just might need him in the end.
For God has given us his plan
That through his love we would all stand
So look in your heart and find the truth
It’s always been there waiting for you
To be a strong wall against violence
Be a strong wall for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me. (3x repeat)
