Mikaeli
“Inspirational Gal”™
*******************
When Contemporary Inspirational Artist Mikaeli King, known as the Inspirational Gal, heard about the devastation of Haiti’s 7.0 Magnitude earthquake she knew she had to do something. The Singer/Songwriter and Author prayed about how she could help and make a difference. “I wanted to make sure my heart was right and I could give. My first way of giving was to pray and continue to find a way to help the people and the children in Haiti.”
The Inspirational Gal remembered her song a beautiful ballad called, “A Strong Wall Against Violence.” This was a way for me to reach the heart of the people and make sure the inspirational message of help, hope, unity and love that would result in the peace of the all of those people hurting so bad would be heard. I have also written a poem regarding Haiti and it is also the name of the project that I am doing, called “When Haiti Cries for Help!.” (please see entire poem below)
I will be making my song available at www.cdbaby.com/cd/inspirationalgal for download and I will be giving 50% of the net profit to the organizations of the Red Cross, Save The Children, and Yele .

A Strong Wall Against Violence (Anthem)
“A Strong Wall Against Violence”
Song (Lyrics)
Don't let your heart grow cold
Don’t let your spirit be removed.
Love is the key to humanity,
remaining free for you and me.
Be a strong wall against violence
Be strong wall for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me (Chorus)
Children hiding underneath their chairs
Holding onto their lives with great fear
Not understanding that the crime,
would soon succeed to take their lives.
Be a strong wall against violence
Be a strong wall against for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me
Take not your lives for granted
For they are given with a price
Stand-up for freedom for everyone
Stand-up for freedom for your love
Become a brick of “unity”
As we join our hearts to set lives free
(Chorus) 1x. (modulation)
The time is coming to decide
If you will help to save a life
Remember your neighbor as your friend
You just might need him in the end.
For God has given us his plan
That through his love we would all stand
So look in your heart and find the truth
It’s always been there waiting for you
To be a strong wall against violence
Be a strong wall for peace
There’s only one strong wall against violence
And that’s you and me. (3x repeat)

(poem) When Haiti Cries for Help!
When Haiti cries for help
Who will hear their plea?
With a 7.0 magnitude earthquake no one can flee.
Cries of babies trapped beneath the earth
Little limbs sticking out of the rubble of collapsed concrete walls
The front page news papers capture our hearts
Who comes to help at a time of such a catastrophe?
How about you?
How about me?
Red Cross arrives but supplies are overwhelmed by the need and run out
UNCIEF starts with a telethon to raise awareness and financial support
The U S promises its Military, Air force, Army and Marines and 100 million dollars of aid per President Obama
Yes, America arises to answer the call
Housewives, teachers, students, and Hip Hop’s 106 & Park.
Little children go into their piggy banks
Celebrities and Stars write big checks
Some like Paula Abdul auction off MJ’s collectable Opus.
Larry King’s suspenders drew one grand and he let’s everyone know, he’ll take any offer he can to help Haitians stand.
So Ben Stiller takes a pair for another grand
Church congregations collect from their own member’s food, clothing and money
Personal businesses give millions and promises of more
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pit, Super Model Gisele and George Clooney give a million to the poor.
P. Diddy, Ringo Star, my favorite guitar player John Mayer just for starts,
Jennifer Lopez, Danny Glover they all come together as Larry King Live airs his two hour special to raise funds.
Even George Clooney wanted to skip the Globe Awards and get started on his own telethon
Garcelle Beuavis-Nilon cries on the air
Wyclef Jean tells us to text to “Yele” his foundation for Haitian care,
which he started before this terrible earthquake ever began
You see they are both of Haitian decent and their cries are felt deep
Who comes to help at a time of such Catastrophe?
What about you?
What about me?
From all over the world help comes
Isreal, French and Turkish Doctors come
Hard to get into such a place
Port-au-Prince in devastation
The anguish the sadness
Thousands are dead, bodies lying in the streets
Many lie wounded barely able to move
Make shift nurseries need Symalac, too.
Who will come to give them food to eat?
My God it’s been 5 days how much longer can they survive?
Yet the spirit of mercy continues to thrive
Drawing out the best in all who hears Haiti’s cry
Wanting to help many people survive
Yes Anderson Cooper 360 is there and so is Soledad Obrien and Dr.Sanjay from CNN
Nurses and “Doctors without Borders” are flying in
to give aid and give us the story even though their lives could be in danger
to help save the lives of perfect strangers
Earthquakes have aftershocks who knows when
But a little love is all it takes to overcome our fears
And make sure the people’s voices of prayer are answered again.
This is the time when we can be proud to say,
“I am glad I am a part of the human race.”
How about you?
How about me?
Taking a portion of what we have and sending it across time to meet the need
Web donations, text donations the internet is a great tool
Telephone donations are still happing too.
Have you given yet?
Do you know you can still help?
What about me?
What about you?
Haiti is crying out, because after their long neglect
Their time has come to know, the World and God loves them so.
Hope and love can never fail when placed in the heart of man from God.
