INstra-Mental is a Hip-Hop, dynamic duo out of Indiana. INstra-Mental is made up of producer Travis "Kut" Moore, and m.c. Carlos "'Litos" Galvan. They have officially been partners since 2002. While attending Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, FL, they both attained their Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts. 'Litos and Kut have been perfecting their crafts for many years, even before their high school friendship. Over the past six to eight years they have formed a rapturous new style of Hip-Hop. Uninhibited by the current mainstream guidelines they lament true raw talent, yet still exude radio appeal. INstra-Mental is truly the sound for the future audience, bringing a brilliant format emerging from numerous musical influences. Kut's synth heavy, upbeat musical style branched from influences such as N.E.R.D. and Outkast. 'Litos has an ecclectic lyrical style coming from a poetic background, with influences ranging from Wu-Tang, Common, and Mos Def. Together they own a unique and versatile sound, that is sure to revolutionize the airwaves. INstra-Mental has managed to create two independent releases and generate a strong 'buzz' on the internet (www.purevolume.com/instramental). The first of the two releases is an eighteen track compilation containing various artist, including themselves, called "The Scrap Lab Presents... Seaze-ure-Dreamz Mixtape Vol.1"(2004). They have recently released their first full length fifteen track album, "INstra-Mental - Instra-Mentation of the Mind"(2005). They are now seeking an equally ambitious record label willing to back them and allow their musical freedom, yet still having the stature and strength to reach mass appeal.
