Street Gospel sensation InterSeed, released his two disc album titled “My Flesh My Uniform” on the Permanent Muzik label. This is “the best CD from top to bottom” that has been released in a long time. “My Flesh My Uniform” takes the listener on a journey that explores the meaning of life. InterSeed’s mission is to spread the Gospel to the masses so that we can come together, build relationships, and spread the truth. InterSeed encourages the listener to take the narrow path of righteousness on this spiritual journey.

Part modern gospel rap and part old school street, this is a record full of hope and controlled aggression, posing a challenge to those who may be lost in the world. Using straight ahead beats and deep grooves that at times resonate with an early 80's feel (think Dana Dane meets UTFO), it proves to be a successful merger, leaving room for lyricism that is well thought out and focused on a positive message. The resulting songs are smooth and easy, informative but not preachy, never straying too far from the task at hand. While some spiritual rappers come off as smugly self realized and a little holier-than-thou, there's no self aggrandizing here, only the thoughtful words of a humble man who has a stake in the music and the message. Adding to the ambition, this package comes with an additional disc of remixes that take the music a step beyond.
