ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Intense … raw … energy; this is (intheclear). Armed with their debut album, (intheclear) set about building a vicious fan base and touring base over the course of their first two years. From sharing the stage with national touring acts like Staind, to headlining festivals, (intheclear) has proven that they absolutely thrive in the live environment. The emotion exuded from the band on stage and in concert is what keeps the (intheclear) fan base fevered and continually expanding. New market after new market, this band continues to dominate their challenges.

The music speaks for itself
I recently found out about this band through another band's forum, and after listening to the full album, I have to say that this might be one of the best albums of 2007 already, but I'm telling you right now. If you like Staind, Breaking Benjamin,Flaw,10 Years,Taproot or other bands in that vein, you will love this album. Andy Paul's vocals are just amazing on tracks like Infectious and Drown, while Clay Cook's guitar parts work amazingly well with the vocals. This album deserves to be bought instead of downloaded, because it's rare that you hear an unknown band that sounds this good.

Infectious
I read about (intheclear) on 10 years page at Lastfm. Wow, they are even better! Infectious has made it to my top 10 and Transpose is just below. These two tracks are worth the full album. A Pulse and a Blindside, Love, Chinese Style and Drown are also good, while the rest is ordinary. What I really like is the non-screamo, sensitive, full-spectrum vocals with the delicate staccato guitar melodies climbing up and down along especially in Infectious. More of that! What I definitely do not like is the print-it-yourself booklet.

Great Full Length Debut!
Along with Flaw and Five Bolt Main, the band called In The Clear is my other favorite from Kentucky. This is a very promising debut for these guys. Every song on this album is awesome and it's one that I can listen to straight thru each time. NINETY SEVEN 11 LYRIC LANE is a collection of their previous 6 songs from their DIRTY CHEESE & THE HOODIE THIEVES EP (which I really appreciate them including all 6 of those songs) plus 5 all new songs which are equally as melodic and powerful sounding as the original 6. The guitar work is very memorable and catchy and the vocals provided by Andy Paul are similar in style to what you would expect to hear from bands like Flaw or Staind. Pretty much anyone who is a fan of those 2 bands will love this release. For me it was worth every penny.
