Album Notes

A pleasant fusion of folk/alternative pop/and country. An innocent and playful feel that enables the listener to take their mind off of their troubles, if only for a little while. Some of our songs are like the above description, but some are also a little jazzy and some a little rock and roll. I know it would be great if we could define ourselves to just one genre, but it's such a big, wide world out there!
Many folks living here on the Big Island of Hawaii come here to get away from the rat race. Some extremely brilliant artists and musicians have made their way here. We have gathered together with extreme talent
We've got Sara singing and Terry playing funky country guitar; and we've added a pedal steel (Gerald Carey and some keyboards (Dennis Alstrand). Roger is ever competent on bass and engineering. We have also brought in several guest musicians, including Tony Selvage on violin, Mitch Satterfield on saxophone, and Amy Busek and Joy McLuer (see Spirits in the Rock at CDBaby) on background vocals. With all the talent, you'd think that egos would get in the way; but we rarely see that happen. Even though we wander through the folk, rock, pop, jazz, and country music scene, it's still us-having fun and whimsically defining our selves.
