INVISIBLE ENEMY is a punk/ska band, with traces of hardcore/punk, from Yonkers, NY. They don't categorize their music besides being "free" to play whatever they want. IE's roots trace back to 1996 as a 3-piece called "Barricade". As time moved on, drummer/vocalist Tom Parisi met Luke Havranek and he joined as lead guitarist/vocalist. After recording a demo in '98, the 3-piece became a 2-piece as Tom and Luke parted with Brad Quinn from the band, and in '99, recorded a 24 song CD, "2lbs.8oz.", on their own.
Nearly a year later, after several attempts at a permanent lineup, IE was complete with Rory Geoghegan as the 2nd guitarist & Paul Loew on bass. IE started playing local clubs and colleges and recorded another 24 song CD titled "SIT YOUR ASS DOWN" in 2000. Since then, INVISIBLE ENEMY has played several venues around the New York area and recorded sporatically. Finally, in 2002, Luke, Tom, Rory, and Paul recorded 2 years of material and released the album "SHADY BUSINESS" on their new label, Atomic Rooster. This CD contains 15 original tracks, plus 4 bonus tracks from a sampler cassette recorded in 2001. All-in-all, 19 tracks totaling in at about 57 minutes of greatness. Songs range from melodic punk to skacore, hardcore to reggae, and from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. This CD will hit you head on! Check it out!

Awesome melodic punk, ska-core. These guys rock!
author: Mark Ludwinks
A great release from a great band. This entire CD from front to back is filled with in your face punk and ska, full of angst and agression and tinges on the humorous side with song titles like saturdaynight at the mall in the 80's and why have a sausage when you can have a kielbasi? I can listen to this album fron to back and never get bored. I look foward to anything these guys release.
