Album Notes

“The Lazy Prince” is a recording of a live performance from 2005. It features iordache on tenor and baritone saxophones, Artur Balogh on bass and Ovidiu Condrea on drums.

The music is completely improvised, not just the solos, but the tunes and structures as well. Although the three had played together before in different combinations, this was their only concert as a trio. There was absolutely no rehearsal.

Three years after, iordache found the recording in his dark basement, blew off the cobwebs and wrote a short story based on a few titles he had invented while chopping the file into individual “tunes” with Soundforge.

The story is ”The Lazy Prince”, and comes with every CD.
It has been considered “senile” by some of his friends. Others just shut up politely.

The records are printable CD-Rs. The covers are re-used cardboard, spray-painted (inexpertly) by iordache. Stencils and lettering provided by Medicine Madison. Total playing time: 39\'30\".
