For the multi-talented and two time Grammy winning Irene Cara, this latest project has been a labor of love.

"Irene Cara Presents Hot Caramel" is an extraordinary and unique double CD set featuring the work of Irene and eight other brilliant female singers, songwriters and musicians.

Produced and developed over nearly a ten year period, volume one consists of the more commercial pop/r&b tracks. There are songs that feature Irene on lead vocals and others that feature the compositions from the main singers and songwriters in the band.

In volume two, the mood shifts significantly towards a more sophisticated jazz oriented style including tracks that were recorded live capturing the women's musical abilities.

For this icon of the performing arts, Irene has always aspired to produce and work with the kind of diverse and multi-faceted artists she could relate fully to, not just as great singers but as fine and developed musicians and songwriters. This musical endeavor has been a dream come true for Miss Cara!
