Ironband, the world’s most enigmatic running, cycling, and triathlon rock band is pleased to release their second full-length album, “No Sleep Til Kona.” Exploring topics old and new, the boys have stretched the limits of their chord collection to bring you another collection of songs to please even the most fickle of multi-sport athletes.
Proving the critics wrong who said that there simply wasn’t enough material for a second album, Ironband crushes the swim and bike and heads out of T2 onto a solid run leg with this rousing new collection of songs. “There might come a day when we run out of material for our songs,” explains Ironband singer Scott, “but today is not that day.”
From the heartfelt, “Me and My Chamois,” to the screaming, “Taste of Your Medicine,” to the title track cover of the Beastie Boy’s fabled, “No Sleep ‘til Brooklyn,” the hits just keep coming. While they logged a few more miles on the bike and a few more hours in the studio, their self-deprecating athletic and musical prowess proves once again that triathlon and music go together like the Donny and Marie. So lace up your running shoes, grab your headphones, and prepare yourself for a semi-musical odyssey unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
