Album Notes
When the four members of The Irresponsibles got together, they knew they had something special. Their first rehearsal together netted three brand new killer tracks and a sound unheard of in Adelaide. The mix of funk ridden filthy guitar hooks, passionate yet ballsy female vocals, melodic rhythm driven bass and animalistic drums ensures that The Irresponsibles will catch the attention of anyone who hears them.

Their live performances have left punters screaming for more as they are assaulted by a show so full of energy that it can barely be contained within the venue. This is a band destined for big stages and big things.

Their debut demo single ‘Save The Day’ reached the No 1 position on JJJ Unearthed in Australia and held firm for over six weeks while copies of the single sold out within a month.

The Irresponsibles debut EP ‘Beginnings’ is out now and represents twelve months of hard work and dedication. The six tracks run the gamut of human emotions from love to anger, joy to sadness, reaching for dreams and being crushed beneath them.

Barbara Blackburn

my favorite album
I own a lot of music, but, this EP is my favorite. Break Me is so "no-holds-barred" all-out rock goodness that I have to listen to it over and over. Hold On speaks to me in my life and encourages me so much. I need that song.
Home warms the heart. Run is aggressive rock that gets your blood pumping.
Skillfully done, Beginnings reminds me why I love rock. It has heart, power and beauty, all rolled up in one nice package.

With all of the techno/metal/whatever being released these days, it's great to hear a band going back to the basics of rock.
Simple, but catchy, guitar riffs matched with the sometimes teasing vocals (listen to 'Break Me' and you'll know what I mean) has had this CD in my frequently.
I look forward to more music from The Irresponsibles.
