The album starts off with our hero wondering if he'll ever find love (Solid Ground).
He then meets Josephine (And Did You Love Her?). She seems to be everything he's looking for in a woman, but is she exactly right for him? He asks the question, "Are You The One?
Things settle in, and he concentrates on his career (A Man Must bust His Butt). The seemingly idyllic nature of his life is expressed in the Interlude.
But nothing lasts forever. He sees Josephine and himself drifting apart, and fears she will leave him (Don't Tale your Love Away). On the other hand, he also sees her as demanding and manipulative (Josephine). Finally, he sees that the relationship is doomed, and that he must leave (I Must Be Free).
When All Is Said and Done looks back over the relationship, and recognizes that mistakes were made. But is this our protagonist or Josephine looking back?
At the end, he is once again alone, but he has grown as a person. This growth is reflected in the more complex arrangement of Solid Ground (Reprise).

Acoustical delight of love and seduction -
author: MDC - Phoenix Chords
A true acoustical delight - Rich passionate vocals and skilled instrumentation of Mr. Jones renders a melancholy collection of passing loves, the dance of seduction, and fantasy. These songs speak to the gritty reality of solititude and the search for love. Mr. Jones presents an excellent mix of ballad and rock with the tenor of rocks roots. The Interlude Fantasy bass solo should become a class. A CD that everyone will enjoy!
