Isaac has been a singer all his life. He sang at Christmas parties before he started school. He sang at home, where his brothers taunted him, saying, "If you can't sing, DON'T!"
Apparently, he could. He sang in choir, he sang in musicals, he sang walking down the street. He also wrote, with his first composition performed by his second-grade class. He sang melody, he sang harmony. He studied classical voice and composition in college. He learned to play guitar, to accompany himself. He started a band with classmates, who insisted he play bass. He played professionally on the west coast, from California to British Columbia and Alaska. He led his own bands, played in others, and was even bandleader for an Elvis impersonator. Through all of the cover tunes, though, he still wrote his own songs, with the idea of, someday, recording his own album.
This is it.
The folk songs he listened to and sang influenced what he wrote, as did the rock music that came later. Acoustic guitars compete with electric double leads for your attention. Solo acoustic songs share space with soaring multiple harmonies. It's all here.
What does it sound like? Imagine Simon and Garfunkel fronting for the Doors. The Eagles playing Jim Croce. Better yet, don't imagine. Listen for yourself.

Acoustical delight of love and seduction -
author: MDC - Phoenix Chords
A true acoustical delight - Rich passionate vocals and skilled instrumentation of Mr. Jones renders a melancholy collection of passing loves, the dance of seduction, and fantasy. These songs speak to the gritty reality of solititude and the search for love. Mr. Jones presents an excellent mix of ballad and rock with the tenor of rocks roots. The Interlude Fantasy bass solo should become a class. A CD that everyone will enjoy!
