Album Notes

Seattle's "King of The Blues" for over 25 years, Isaac's electrifying guitar playing and gospel inspired vocals on this live CD represent his gifted talent. Teamed up with Dave Conant another Northwest guitar legend, makes this CD a rare treat and a rollicking roller coaster ride of the down home blues. In addition, there are humorous blues stories told by Isaac Scott about his musical career and good friend Albert Collins. Sadly, both Isaac Scott and Dave Conant passed away within two weeks of one another in November 2001. Missed but not forgotten their music lives on in this CD.

Isaac Scott is legendary in the Pacific Northwest! If you love this recording (and you will), please check out Isaac's contribution to 1984's "Live at the Jolly Roger Roadhouse," available on Criminal Records NW, and here on CDBaby at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/liveatthejollyrogerroadh. He delivers three incredible live cuts recorded at Seattle's famed but now defunct Jolly Roger Roadhouse. The recording also includes Paul deLay, Lloyd Jones, Curtis Salgado and Tom McFarland.

This album shows Isaac to be a blues guitar player of the very highest caliber, as well as a soulful first-rate singer. This live set is very well recorded with an excellent band. No fan of electric blues should be without this CD.
