Nuances stand out with time

I was one of the first reviewers of the album. For me, as I listen to it more closely and more often, the various subtle tones make themselves known, and really enhance the experience, and prove the artist's proficiency with the piano. Pasting my initial review: "Visions" is Ade's first solo album. Ade's an independent musician based in Melbourne, Australia. The album is a collection of 9 beautifully composed piano pieces. My personal favourites are "Birth of Love", "Sky" especially the second half of the composition, and "Rain". The pieces are pleasant, relaxing, ambient but non-intrusive, and at times very inspiring (for one thing it digs out my wish to learn a musical instrument every now and then!). On average, each piece runs for about 7 minutes, and it is easy to sense the effort and love that has gone into the album's creation. Note that although this is his first solo, Ade is by no means new to the music scene, having been involved in various events previously. I highly recommend "Visions" if you like instrumental music.. You can find out more about Ade and "Visions" at Ade's website (http://www.adeishs.com). In the spirit of fair use, trust, and freedom of platform choice (yay!) - Ade's made sure the music is DRM-free.

Beautiful listening

Although it is Ade Ishs's first solo disc, it certainly doesn't sound that way. From the first few seconds to the closing notes it is obvious the whole album has been thoughtfully composed and professionally mastered - truly a joy to listen to. While there are 9 individual songs on the CD, it really should be listened to as a whole album, the tone and feeling varying smoothly from piece to piece. At times bright, at times mellow, the listener is kept involved and entertained by Ade Ishs's mastery of the piano. I certainly look forward to hearing his next album.

Wonderful collection of graceful piano pieces

Ade Ishs’s first solo disc, “Visions,” is a compilation of relaxing contemporary piano pieces. It is one thing to just play the piano, but it is another to give it life and Ade Ishs has done just that. Ishs’s ability to demonstrate the expressive and emotional melodies throughout this album is clearly heard. Dreamy and pure, “Morning Vision” possesses wonderful rolling runs as Ishs’s fingers gracefully glide over the keys, never missing a single one. Listeners will be able to hear the great dynamic balance on “Soil” as bass tones boldly hold the harmony while upper tones are strong and contoured. This album is well-produced, as the acoustic piano is clean and crisp while every nuance is defined. Ade Ishs’s “Visions” is a wonderful album featuring soothing acoustic piano selections, and is definitely well-worth listening to.
