Imperial Star Project is a jamming band. They play their music in improvisation style. This cd is more song oriented. If you are really into free-style jam, their 3-03-04 cd might be the one. Their tone is raw. They don't care much about melody line. But, they do care about power and emotion. Actually,the guitar sound is very bluesy.The rhythm section is very deep and groovy.So, Punk mixed with Funk is the key element of the Imperial Star Project sound.

An excellent CD with a lot of power
author: DagnabbitThis is a GREAT CD. Any person who is a fan of overall fat drum grooves, with a interesting knack for cool guitar riffs wiht a solid bass groove should check this CD out. I love the idea and the loud power that comes out. Amazing as such as it utilizes the power trio format. It works and is a great find.
Manic, Raw, Fun
author: Doug OwensI have seen I.S.P. live a few times and this release is just like going to the show. Just make sure you turn your stereo to "10" and there is smoke coming out the back. The songs on here are pure Fender Deluxe cranked and raw. Imagine a badass detroit dance party in the basement. We're talking sweat, dirt and pure funky rock n' roll.
