ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
Joshua Nemith lives, teaches, and performs in the Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky areas. He is Principal Keyboardist with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. Since earning his doctorate in piano performance in 2004 at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati, he has taught 20th-century piano literature and chamber music courses at that same institution. Mr. Nemith is an alumnus of the New World Symphony, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Eastman School of Music. His teachers include James Tocco, Nancy Garrett, Fernando Laires, and David Burge.

Gerald Itzkoff has played in the first violin section of the Cincinnati Symphony the last 15 years, and has been a participant at the Mondadnock Music Festival in New Hampshire for the last 25. Mr. Itzkoff is a founder of the Amicus Chamber Series, which features free chamber music concerts in Cincinnati. His CD of sonatas by Busoni, Elgar, and Prokofiev, Twentieth Century Romantic, was released in 2005.
