A new artist who\'s written all her songs, with something to say. Ivy appears to be heavily influenced by stevie nicks and dolly parton, through sound and dress. Factoring that in with the “message” in these song, she appears to have a rock background muc

Ivy Raye was born in Monroe,LA. However, she spent most of her years in San Antonio, TX where she gained her love of country music.
Ivy modeled and taught modeling after high school and she, eventually, moved on to Minneapolis, MN where she once modeled for Tanya Tuckers clothing line on Value Vision television.
She currently resides in Atlanta, Ga. Ivy has been writing songs since she was 16.
First, it is clear that Ivy is heavily influenced by Stevie Nicks. You can hear hues of Stevie in her tone and her dress also resembles her with a little Dolly Parton thrown in for good measure.
Factoring that in with the “message” in her songs, you\'ll hear a rock background much like the sound and tone of “Higher” by Creed.
Ivy admits to listening and loving all forms of music; from rock to rap and feels she\'s taken the best of all genres and made her own unique sound.
Having survived a difficult childhood, she understands the pain abused people face making it through life on any given day.
Ivy doesn\'t just believe, she knows their complete healing and relief will only be through God and only through Him will they ever know whole peace and healing, and hopes to convey this through her music.
