BIOGRAPHY
Fil Eisler simply is "iZLER" (That's pronounced EYE-ZLER) and nothing short of an incredibly talented artist.
iZLER first came to prominence in the UK as a key member of Robbie Williams' band. Their various tours encompassed venues from clubs to football stadiums, where Fil's adrenaline fueled stage presence began to grow. It was these shows that brought him to the attention of Mike Smith of EMI Music UK who signed him as an artist in his own right.
His solo career began in the summer of 2002 when he left his adoptive home of the UK (Fil was born in Prague, Czech Republic) and traveled to New York City. Armed with a pen, paper, guitar and his tireless work ethic he quickly made a name for himself around the NYC club scene. Not even a freak accident of being hit by a runaway taxi was going to stop him from fulfilling his goals.
With the help of Brooklyn producer Steve Walsh, iZLER recorded his self-titled debut album (Out on May 18th 2004), financing the project himself.
iZLER: "I felt it was important to record an album that I loved with my own family of players and without a major label involved. After all it's me that's got to live with the fuckin' thing! I think this way, we made a record that I dig and that people could fall in love with for a long time."
iZLER is now based out of the "City of Angels" and plans are being made to tour behind the record's release. His talent to create great rock songs adding a pop sensibility combined with a ferocious stage presence makes him quite an exciting act to witness.

It is a very accomplished debut and shows future promise from a man who has the god-given gift of being a total genius live on stage (if you’ve never seen him live you’re missing out). Here’s hoping this won’t be his last effort.

An amazing album from a truly gifted one man band. 10 out of 10. Just shows you what dedication can ahieve. I recomend you own a copy of this piece of musical gold.

Nice songs, interesting production
author: DennisI'm pleasently suprised, it's got some nice british-sounding tracks with some "typcial" LA-production, superb mixture (come to think of it, I should pop it in again, as I haven't listened to it in detail yet). Maybe a tiny bit too much distortion for my liking, becoming a bit boring. Interesting stereo-image however, sometimes with extreme panning. Think it might give me a headache on headphones ;) Overall a great album tho, good one Fil!

author: AmandaWell, what can i say? This is just one of the best albums ive ever heard, really! how can a man play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and sing?! Well, iZLER can and he prooved it with this album, i love "not enough", "posterchild", "gone", "my fuck you to you", "getaway"...they're all quite different and shows another face of the man, i've never seen Fil like that before and it's nice to still discover new stuffs...even more if they come from the same man!! Well done! I hope to see them live as soon as possible!! xxx Amanda
