J. Thomas is a well polished act with years of music experience. Formally of the Bay Area's Braden Family Choir with performances expanding from singing the National Anthem for the NBA's national televised opening for the Golden State Warriors to performing for BET's gospel host Bobby Jones, has redirected his singing career as a solo artist. By sharing his life experiences through his lyrical expression and faith, J. Thomas has tapped into a new music niche that mixes his jazzy baritone voice with a big touch of Holy Ghost to create a need to hear never heard before contemporary gospel sound. He writes his music with his emotions and his trials on his sleeve. Be it during his time serving his country in the Persian Gulf to the miracle birth of his daughter Jamani, J. Thomas has never lost focus on for whom this is all about, and that's "JESUS". Usher in his latest c.d. confessed, however J. Thomas did it just to bless!
