Just 4 Praize previously known as “Praise” is a unique and refreshing gospel ensemble which has been singing, delighting and inspiring audiences for over fifteen years. From the seed of an all family group, the ensemble has grown and reshaped to its current thirteen members. The repertoire of Just 4 Praize spans both contemporary and traditional styles of gospel music featuring arrangements and original songs and music.

Just 4 Praize traveled on their first international engagement during the summer of 1993. There they were the featured guest artists for a five-day Russian/American music festival along the Volga River. As artist in Residence Just 4 Praize also sang in the Russian Festival Choir's production of Karl Orff's Carmina Burana. They conducted gospel workshops culminating in combined concert performances with Sharing a New Song.

In 1997 Just 4 Praize was again blessed with the opportunity to share their music and message in South Africa as guest artist of Sharing a New Song. This tour presented a new challenge and rare opportunity for musical and cultural exchange.

At home, under the new musical directorship of Maestro Jerome Kyles, the ensemble continues to break down barriers and offering cultural understanding through music.

Some of the Just 4 Praize members have sung background vocals for such artists as Daryl Coley, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr, James Taylor, Alvin Slaughter, Patti Labelle,
Edwin Hawkins and the Boston Pops under the direction of Maestro Charles Floyd.

The Praize Partnership Philosophy includes Psalms 150:6. “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.”

Just 4 Praize desires that the hearts of those who listen will be uplifted as we reflect through our music how much we need to thank and praise God for all of the blessings bestows upon us. It is their hope that through the vehicle of Gospel Music a message of hope and praise will touch the lives and hearts of those who listen.

It is also our desire that through our idiom, gaps can be bridged and cross-cultural understanding can be achieved as we reach out to audiences that are less exposed to the Gospel Music experience.
