Who would have thought gospel music could be birthed in Compton, California? Compton is the birth place of gangsta rap artist N.W.A., 2nd II None, and D.J. Quik...So what's all the buzz?!?!?

From the city of Compton, CA, Jabari˜ Steward & Harmonies of Praise present their debut recording project, Speak Peace. This project is saturated with the Spirit of God and is capturing the attention of the secular and Christian populace.

The Speak Peace project’s title track is very appropriate during this turbulent time in our nation’s history. The song transcends racial lines while lifting the soul into worship.

The ensemble has recorded for the Television show Home Team hosted by Troy McClain and is endeavoring to share their uplifting and refreshing message with the world.

The project also features “Talkin’ ‘Bout Jesus!”, a track that will be a big success in secular and gospel circles. The track’s cogent God inspired message and Stevie Wonder stylized music work to lift your soul into a higher realm of praise.

Jabari˜ Steward & Harmonies of Praise present a sound that is innovative and unique to today’s gospel music. You can’t listen to the Speak Peace project and not feel the soul impacting ministry God has placed on it.
