ALBUM DESCRIPTION

Like the dub pioneers before him, Solomon Jabby has embarked on his own journey into the realm of free musical expression.
This sophomore studio experiment, features organic roots and massive dub mix-downs reminiscent of the original dub masters like King Tubby, Lee Perry, and Scientist. The album title was inspired by Psalm 24:7, "Open up ancient gates, open up ancient doors, and let the King of Glory enter."

His passion for music is tied closely to his belief in Yeshua Mashiach the Nazarene as foretold by the Old Testament prophets (Isaiah 53). "My only agenda is to glorify YHWH with my talents, love humanity, and create the music I was born to create."

Zion Gates has been featured in BEAT magazine in both February and August 2005 and is sure to be a perfect edition to your reggae roots collection.
