REVIEWS

very impressive!

I bought the movie because of Anthony Lapaglia and while watching I was impressed by the music used in it. Because of "waitin' for days", "lonely world" and "borrowed light" I bought this CD and must say it's just great as a whole and worth each cent I spent on it.

Watch the movie. Listen to the music. And you will be in New York bar, with your best and real friends, and gently light will shine on you... My no. 1 is absolutely "Borrowed light". (At end scores in movie).

Loved it!

Listening to "Waitin for Days" made me thing of what it would have been like to walk into a smoky jazz club years and years ago. This is the type of cd that will slow a rapid pulse rate down. A place to listen & let the stress float away! "Ready" and "Close to You" are the kind of songs you listen to when you're alone with a bottle of nice red wine.

Smooth, bluesy, fun

I saw this movie, liked it, and liked the music from the opening credits on. The CD stands alone just fine. The smooth jazz, vocals, and overall tone are sophisticated, poignant in some places, fun in others, and very easy to listen to. For vocals, I liked "Ready," "Waitin' for Days," "So Close to You," and especially "Borrowed Light." For instrumentals, I especially liked "Levine's Theme." Nice work!
