Hailed by some as the loudest band in North America, and loved by many for being the loudest band in North America, Jackass has been leading its own exodus to the Promised Land of Rock. Blazing a trail for over two years now, winning over new followers along the way with deafening grace.
After sweeping both the Cincinnati Enquirer and CityBeat Magazine awards for Best Hard Rock Band in 2002, Jackass followed up with their debut release "Donkey Style" in May of 2003. The new album "Touch of Ass" is nearing completion and should hit the shelves before the Spring of 2006. Jackass is back, and THAT'S A FACT JACK !!!!!!!!
"Donkey Style" kicks hard in a tasty, heavy cocktail that shakes together potent rock with refreshing humor and a down-home redneck vibe. - Larry Nager, Cincinnati Enquirer
At 11:00pm, the Mad Frog got a dose of "mad music" from a hardcore rock band called Jackass (what a stupid name!!) The first song was about beer.....the fellas did some serious rock guitar army shit.....HARDCORE TO THE MAX!! ... Heavy drumbeats were probably heard about four blocks from the club!

"A poem: Roses are red, violets are blue, Jackass kicks ass..." - Jake Hollyfield, The Citizen Newspaper
"We need you guys out here in Seattle... you guys are hot!!!" - Julie, Club Rock-n-Roll
" 'Donkey Style'... has everything required to kick the shit out of you and still leave you craving more...."Craig Mckitterick www.justwannarock.com
" The band starts the CD at 90 miles an hour, and charges full speed ahead through the entire album, never slowing down, never turning down! It's pure adrenaline-pumping, throw-your-hands-in-the-air, shake your ass rock and roll that lasts for nearly 40 minutes! If Jackass were driving a race car, it'd be a top-fuel dragster, gunning off the line at top speed, and only slowing down when the race was over. Does that give you any indication of the type of band we're looking at here? This is a ROCK band!"Mark Lush www.midwestbands.com

Jackass, debauchery with guitars.
This American Mid-West four piece offers the stylistic aggression of modern rock along with the hardcore, angry vocals of 'Toy' only confirming that this band are going places. Their self released album 'Donkey Style' from MulePower Records (can anyone see a recurring theme here?) has everything required to kick the shit out of you and still leave you craving more.
The opening track 'Again' is three minutes and five seconds of musical fury, crammed with some of the most poignant drumming and razor edge guitar riffs known to man. The critics might slate them for their lyrics of 'slaps his girl around' and 'bends to the table to snort another little white lie.' But who gives a shit; they're effective, powerful and moving. I also particularly enjoyed '3 Wheel Bike' with its Maiden influences, amusing lyrics and fast paced guitar slamming
Every piece of this album is entirely efficacious, even the little phone call messages from people commenting on the band 'Mark = Metal' was very amusing if not embarrassingly funny along with the harlots calling in asking to be groupies.
Class. I love it.
