jack housen has been recording cd's the last ten years out of claremont,california where artists such as david lindley and ben harper have cultivated their music. jack recorded this latest cd with john mcknight who has collaborated with ben harper,geggy tah,fishbone,and etta james. he was also very proud to have world renowned multi-instrumentalist david lindley play slide on "Halfway Cafe" who has played with jackson browne,warren zevon, and linda ronstadt. jack has been influenced by many varieties of music around the world and he hopes you can find something in this cd you can relate to and enjoy.

author: HeatherI like all the songs on this c.d. They all have originality and sincerity, which always hits a chord with people.At first it took me some time to warm up to Halfway Cafe and Saturday. But now that I have sat back and listened to the c.d for what seems like a million times, I have to admit that I am addicted....so addicted I find myself singing I am a Man while walking the steets!
great CD to listen to at anytime

I thought this C.D. was GREAT!!! "I am a man" and "Saturday" are my favorite songs. Anyone who listens to this will definitely enjoy it. Jack you are very talented (and so HOT);)

I wish this CD's Producer would have spent more time on the arrangements of these songs. Every song has potential, but sadly, I believe this should be re-recordrd. "Saturday", is an amazing song with a rather weak chourus. "In My Corner", the wo wo wo's and the bridge vocal need to go. Otherwise, what a wonderful song. "you just got by", and "halfway cafe", I wouldn't change a thing. Both songs are very well done. Track 8 is hard for me to get through and track 9 has a different sonic quality that the rest. I think it was recorded analog rather than digital. This is a good CD, I would change some things and raise my rating to a 5. Good work Jack Housen.
