Album Notes

began writing music when I was thirteen although I had been playing guitar since I was eight years old, inspired by the many bands of the mid-sixties. Of course, I was a little young in the Sixties so, the music I danced to and listened to in high school and beyond was that of the Seventies. In particular, artists who influenced me were : Paul McCartney/Gordon Lightfoot/ the Moody Blues/ Loggins & Messina/ John Denver/ Dewey Bunnell (America)/ Dan Fogelberg/ Michael Murphy/ Tom Petty (some of my rock stuff), and others.

I've written songs in a variety of genres, including: Country; Christian, Rock R & B, Celtic, and others. My primary style is easy-listening, adult-contem-porary pop ballads such as She Could Be the One, which I co-wrote with Denis D'Aoust.

I continue to collaborate on new tunes and on breathing new life into old ones with Denis D'Aoust, who arranges and performs most of my more recent demos.

I am a member of the Guild of Int'l. Songwriters & Composers and regularly collaborate with other members as well as local musicians in the Bay Area.
