An awesome collection of smooth jazz and new age tunes. Playful piano, fat juicy bass and drums, with lush fiery solos dance together as one instrument. Definitely not lame elevator music just easy listening that begs a listener to take a closer look. Reminiscent of early Pat Metheny, or David Benoit when they were inventing their art form Butterflies in Snow swirls with beauty and imagination like colorful wings spread amidst a lightly falling spring snow. Each song is uniquely distinct yet they fit and flow well together and make a refreshing enlivening listen.
This music was born in improvisation and then carefully polished into a wonderful gem. It has "immense depth of sound" as Bob Walters writes on his blog Music, Music, Music.

Jack's newest CD is light and deep, and it's in stereo!
I've worked with Jack for many years, and i know that this CD contains many tracks that have been literally years in the making. His attention for detail is evident in each percussion beat, each melodic line and exotic instrument. The result is music that embraces you and takes you to a peaceful place. If you listen to the samples, i'm sure you'll want to buy a copy. Give in to your desires, buy one already!
