After eight months of touring together in support of Karla Adolphe’s debut album Come Home, Caleb and Karla decided to merge their musical careers, and Jacob and Lily was born. Incorporating the cajon beat box, world percussion instruments and a partial drum kit, Caleb is the perfect compliment to Karla’s driving style and compelling voice which critics have compared to Martha Wainright, Ani DiFranco and Sarah McLaughlin. Having reached their goal of 1000 album sales and 100 shows in 10 months, Karla and Caleb have taken the country by storm.

Viewing art as a vehicle for conversation, relationship and community, Karla and Caleb are dedicated to causes that address important social issues, particularly those focused on children and justice, such as Hero Holiday and The Invisible Children. Caleb and Karla are also are members of JUSTARTISTS Winnipeg collective of socially active artists.
