Album Notes

In a hip-hop game dominated by male rappers, comes a refreshing new sound and look in the form of 24 year old hip hop artist, Jade Fox. This female proves that intense lyrics and crazy flows aren’t only for the guys. Combining the skills of a lyricist, mc, and a poet, Ms. Fox is able to transform beats into thought provoking masterpieces. Describing herself as “that underground female with commercial appeal,” Jade Fox shows it is possible to create entertaining music with substance, a combination not often heard in today’s pop driven hip-hop market.
Blending hip hop with elements of poetry and R&B, great range is shown by the female mc through songs touching on serious aspects of living life to battle rhymes for all who doubt her. Immediately evident through her songs on the new album "Ashes of Another Life," is the evolution of Jade Fox as an artist. Combining hard hitting and diverse hip hop beats, produced by 2 Minds 1 Soul Productions, and live instrumentation from musician/engineer Chris Bentley, Jade eloquently spits universally appealing rhymes through a variety of flows. As a Black and Asian female mc, she offers a different look and sound than what is presented in today’s market. With her music speaking for itself as an honest form of self-expression that is entertaining and related to by many, Jade Fox is poised to become one of the top artists of hip-hop.

Baltimore Represent!!!

Hell of a debut. Every song had a strong message and her delivery was hot. My only complaint were the beats, a few of them weren't to hot. But it's definitely worth a listen. I'd cop her 2nd joint with no problems because she can only get better.

She's actually saying something

From one female mc to another, I'm digging this album. She's actually talking about something through the whole record which is rare these days whether male or female mc. It reminds me of my album that just dropped, The World Revolves Around Judi Jetsunn, full of concepts. You should check it out..female mc's are definitely bringing it back. Go cop this album!!! A message from Unique Entertainment.

I had the pleasure of meeting this gifted Mc and seing her perform and that should mean a lot to her because I usually don't go out to see anyone perform. This Cd was really superb. It reminded me of the days where hip hop was melodic and inspiring. All 10 tracks where strong and I honestly didn't want to skip any of them. Jade did a great job with bridging the underground with the mainstream. Bonified ... just let it play CD. I highly recommend this album. P.O.P
