Album Notes

Imagine a record so groove laden, that it seamlessly fuses all the best elements of Electric Six, Korn, Eminem and larger than life funky rock riffs. Add to that little fantasy some fantastic sampling, a CD sleeve that includes an original comic and some sharp political lyrics '" What an awesome dream right? Well my friends this is no longer a music fan’s fantasy '" A man and his fantastically talented band have created a record that has made all of the above a reality.

Stay tuned for the upcoming album:

REVIEWS

‘Tales of The Rondo’ is a very strong effort and possibly the career breakin
author: Kudos Magazine - Liam Thomson
Emerald Triangle Tales Of The Rondo 8/10 The Emerald Triangle, fronted by rock genius Jade Steel are back with their third full length album. For those of your not in the know: These gentlemen are quite the sci-fi nuts. Therefore the latest album, much like Green Day’s American Idiot, this feels as much like a rock opera as an album in it’s own right. Think Disturbed and Korn vocally without the tiresome, dirgy writing style. Add the odd flit of sampling and reggae and you have yourself some idea of what this well produced, powerful, vibrant hard-rock album is all about. Jade Steel is never hugely serious vocally and while they are not quite Electric Six don’t expect to be emotionally moved. What you must expect is some well constructed catchy rock songs with just enough of a clichéd element to give them that 80’s classic rock edge that is so popular at the moment. Songs such as ‘Rip It Up’ mix a thrashy chorus with strong verses whereas ‘Code Red’, an album highlight with powerfully delivered metallic riffs and almost tentative verses in the vein of Insolence. This and later offering ‘Ms. Amerika’ find the band at their best and would do hugely well as singles. ‘Tales of The Rondo’ is a very strong effort and possibly the career breaking album this talented band have been waiting for. You would be ill advised to not check these guys out because the longer they are under the radar, yet writing songs as good as Code Red’ and the triumphant ‘Ms. Amerika’ with its blisteringly well written structures and sublime melodies – the hotter they are to be getting into.
