This is the audio track taken from the first DVD of British prog rockers Jadis . View from Above was recorded in Krakow in 2003 this album has it all. Typical English symphonic rock with dominant guitar solos, powerful creative drumming, blistering bass playing and lush soundscapes from the excellent Martin Orford .The sound is superb and crystal clear. What else do you need as a prog rock lover? .
Good songs and impressive performance by the band. Jadis have their own unique sound. If you like good solid progressive rock, I recommend it!

Most of the songs are “oldies” of course, but they still sound very “fresh” and up-to-date. More Than Meets The Eye is without any doubt one of my favourite Jadis songs; the flute passage always reminds me of another legendary English symphonic rock band, namely Camel. It is a bit of a shame that the Polish audience is a bit too quiet, and therefore the live atmosphere is perhaps not that good, but the music is wonderful. Sleepwalk is a guitar driven song with amazing solos and the concert could not have ended better. Also check out the bonus video, which features the instrumental Holding Your Breath, recorded in 1994. There are also a lot of extras on this DVD, like e.g. band biography, an interview with Gary and Martin, discography, a photo gallery, desktop images and weblinks. So there is enough to enjoy here; a must for Jadis fans!!!
Up till now, the band shared the stage with Marillion, Arena, John Wetton; they also played numerous headlining tours. This DVD contains the recording of a great show played in Cracow, Poland, in April 2003. The varied track list includes Jadis classics (e.g. "The Beginning and the End") as well as pieces from their newest opus "Fanatic".
Jadis amp it up to full throttle with a set list that includes a handful of new tunes and
classics such as "More than Meets the Eye" The
British quartet -- front man Gary Chandler, bassist John Jowitt, keyboardist
Marlin Orford and drummer Steve Christey -- also performs "Daylight Fades,"
"Sleepwalk" and 5 more tracks from this 2003 concert.
