ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hello People,

Communist Speech Tower Land is the second LP from Jail, a band once described as "The best live act since Napoleon", by Bereft Magazine.

Tracks Renaissance Man and Rabid Confusion have been featured on 'ResonanceFM'the Best Independent radio station for London and the song 'Oh Oh!'has featured on a Pete Doherty DVD.

Jail have played many gigs in London, Manchester and Leeds to name a few places, in sets usually involving theatrics, poor gags, guitar solos, banjos and white noise all rolled into one.

4 Pop videos have been produced, usually tongue in cheek and never patronising. The Videos have featured Underground trains (subway trains for you North Americans), bouncy Castle fights, teddy bear stunts and bad fashion.

Jail have a website www.Jail.org.uk and myspace (Jailtheband).

Thanks,

Anton Gebbit (2007).

Absolutely Cracking and Very, Very Minty
Jon Leone has done it again! Every single release from this visionary geographymeister is effing wick-ed. From the soaring sublimity of Circle/: Line to the downright technical buffoonery of Pipex Dream, Jail tickle you on the chin and knee and then serve up a huge platter of several types of everthing, especially in terms of Attila the Hun. Yes, you've got it right, fabulously right, once again Sir Leone. Now get back to the suburbs where you belong, you feckless steaming oaf.
