Album Notes

John (Jake) Jacobs helped form the Bermuda Folk Club in the sixties, performed on two albums with the folk group Cornucopia in Maryland in the eighties, and has been playing music ever since. He performed with Holly Williams for ten years in Colorado and they produced a Celtic album “Tried and True” in 1998. With Holly and others, Jake produced an old time album “Dancing Down the Moon” in 1999, a Christmas album “Turning of the Year” in 2000, Celtic albums “Celtic Gold” in 2002 and “Purple Heather” in 2004. Jake produced his first solo album, Celtic Isles in 2006 with guest artists.
