He used to play with the bands: Nick Rock-n-roll & "Trite Dushi" ("Rub the Souls"), "Kulturnaya revolutsiya" ("Culture revolution"), "Sandwich Shoes", "GUM-BEAT" etc.
From 2007 he starts to work as a solo-artist, with the first album - "PREQUEL". He is trying to play music in a style, combining features of progressive rock and psychedelic rock, with a great dose of up-to-date electronic sounds and arrangements too.

Hoping for a "Sequel"!!
author: Brian Christ
I've said before to never judge a CD by it's title or the graphics on it's cover. Now you can add never judge a rocker by his/her location on the globe either. Jake Pashkin comes from the Russian Federation, but rocks like the best American rockers out there.
This is a wonderful combination of electronic rock, great guitar riffs and skillful playing of such, and a little psychedelica thrown in for good measure. This is a godd little listen, and great recording quality for a first release as well.
Hopefully the "Prequel" has an even better "Sequel" to it in the future, as his talent and creativity will take him far. Highly recommended for "jamming in the car drives"!
