Album Notes

Jake Rowan is a Minneapolis-based guitar player and singer. His 2004 debut album, Here's Some Music, displays a perfect union of poetic lyrics, pure vocal skills, and funky guitar chops. In the April 22, 2004 edition of the U of M, Morris University Register, his album was described as "mocha-cool", for its coffeeshop-ready acoustic sound, although his live shows range from straight-up funk rock to laid back folk. Jake is emerging as one of the most promising young Twin Cities talents, with potential for national success, aided by his truly fanatic fans. Jake's influences include a diverse range of artists, from The Beatles to Eminem to Stevie Wonder. Watch his website www.jakerowan.com for updates on his performance schedule.
