Peanut Butter and JAM is the second offspring of San Francisco's most hip-happy family music group, Charity and the JAMband. It's a jamboree of dance-happy tunes meant for the whole family to share. "Our music celebrates the joy of childhood and family life," explains Charity Kahn, bandleader, songwriter, lead vocalist and keyboard player with the JAMband. Kahn, a mathematician, musician and mother of two young children, has published a book on the connections between math and music. Her music-activity Jamboodas classes in San Francisco are popular with parents, caregivers and kids. Kahn strives to spread joy, connection and family fun through song, dance and silliness. She's been rocking the kids ever since she became a mom.
