When I was a keyboardist at Macedonia AME Church in Flushing NY, at the end of each service I was asked to play something
relaxing and meditative for everyone. I would think of the message from the sermon of the day and a song would come to mind,
usually one of the hymns my mom would sing around the house when I was little. The notes and passages would flow freely into
my head and through my fingers.... I never knew where it would take me, but it was always soothing. The people complimented me
so much and many of them suggested that I record some of these songs in the manner that I played them. I did, and I sold them for
a very low price, because I wanted everyone to have it. People kept buying it and coming back for more, they would buy five or six
and give them to friends as gifts. Now finally, I am making it available to the general public. I KNOW you will love these hymns.
