Very Entertaining

This is a fantastic CD. It combines some of the Concert dialog with James Barbour's fantastic singing voice. This is a must have CD for anyone who has seen/heard Mr. Barbour. I saw him most recently in Tale of Two Cities and in 1776 and he was fantastic in both.

I get goosebumps listening to you sing. The clarity, tone and richness to your voice is outstanding!! Can I give you 10 stars for this CD?!!! Hope to be able to see you in concert at Hofstra U. Please make more CD's and don't ever stop singing.

James Barbour in Concert CD

Saw him in TALE OFTWO CITIES, Sardi's, and most recently in 1776. As good as the latter show is, it's not until James Barbour sing Molasses to Rum in the second act that you know that you're a witness to greatness. Never have I heard the song sung with such understanding of the lyrics and dramatic force as to make the rest of the evening almost forgettable. However, the overall production is remarkable but it's his moment that will burn in the memory and soul. I will see the show again just to hear him sing that song. What an incredible talent and what a remarkable man. In his cabaret act, he pays homage to veterans, of which I am one. Thank you Mr. Barbour not only for sharing your God given talent but your feelings for those who donned a uniform for this country.
