Album Notes

The first No Hit Wonders Songwriters Tour disc, Three Men and a Diva, features four rising Southeastern songwriters in concert at Nashville's Douglas Corner Cafe. The foursome's easy familiarity and engaging presence
are readily apparent on the recording, and well attested by audiences at Douglas Corner, the Bluebird, Atlanta's Swallow at the Hollow, Northern Star and Eddie's Attic, and Chicago's Uncommon Ground. A full artist roster and information on 2005/2006 events are available at www.NHWST.com.

If you like what you hear in the MP3 samples to the left, you may also enjoy the second live compilation from the NHW Songwriters Tour called "Underdog" which is also available on CD Baby.

THE CD
The project subtitled "Three Men and a Diva" was released by Home By Dark Productions, which has taken an aggressive pricing and grass roots marketing strategy to build success. The CD retails at only $7.99, virtually unheard of from a new release. The 12 songs on the CD were recorded live in Nashville in July 2004 before a packed house at legendary Douglas Corner Café. Each performer has three cuts on the project and the rotation of songs follows the same order of their in-the-round show.

You'll need to change the "no hit" part soon!

I had the pleasure of seeing, hearing and meeting three of these four artists at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Suffice it to say 'WOW'! Clever lyrics, memorable music, and rich voices. I'm looking forward to saying "I knew them 'when'!"

Voices from the past

Three years ago while sippin' java in a local coffee house in Nashville, I heard this superb duo. Made me stop what I was doing. Never knew what became of them until now. Ran into THE DIVA. Got caught up to speed. Next day, ordered this cd, listened more than twice, loved it, felt like I was in the midst of greatness. It's one slammin' cd from start to finish.

Just a fantastic combination of great music and thoughtful lyrics -- I especially liked Two Inches Deep and Save The World. Good luck to all...the hits will surely come soon.
